We would like to invite you to join us for worship at GBC! Our services include inspirational music, a relevant message, and friendly people to help you grow closer to God. A map is provided below and feel free to contact us if you have any questions. We hope to see you soon!
Our primary service will be at 10:30 a.m. for families. For this service, we will offer preschool and nursery care. School-age children are welcome to stay in the service with parents. All Covid-19 guidelines for indoor gatherings will be followed. Please be mindful of social distancing and wearing masks at all times when inside the buildings. Until further notice, we will not be having Adult Fellowship groups or Youth and Children's Sunday School.
We will also offer an indoor service at 9:00 a.m. for only those who are elderly and medically compromised and cannot endure the outdoor weather. This service will be limited to 65 people and will be held in the Sanctuary. We ask that you sign up today, or call the office Monday through Thursday of next week to let us know that you will be attending this service. The office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. All guidelines will be strictly followed. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
Please review the following guidelines
If you or anyone in your household has any of the following symptoms please stay home; fever over 100.4, shills, cough, trouble breathing, muscle aches, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or headache.
We will continue to have a screening for fever at check-in.
Children three years old to second grade are encouraged to wear a mask.
Children from third grade to 18 years will be required to wear a mask or face shield. We will provide face shields or masks for those who need one.
All adults are required to wear a mask while inside the buildings.
The guidelines recommend that the bathrooms be cleaned after each use, so we are encouraging all of you to use the bathroom before coming.
We will be practicing social distancing in each room.
Each room will be thoroughly cleaned after every use. We will use an electrostatic sprayer with an antiviral solution to sanitize each room.
We are all ready to fellowship and learn God’s Word together!
Please arrive early (10 to 15 minutes before the service begins)
The courtyard will be marked with areas for sitting. You can bring a blanket, lawn chairs, or folding chairs will be provided. We ask you to go to an area and stay there until the service is over. Please feel free to talk to those around you, but do not go around and visit others. Please keep 6 feet apart and if you have children please keep them with you at all times.
While masks are required during all indoor services for the safety of others, we will not require them for the services outside. Masks will be made available if you do not have one.
While bathrooms will be available, we ask that you only use them in case of an emergency. We will be keeping our services short so the total time for check-in, service, and dismissal to the car will be about an hour.
There will be no meet and greet during the service. I know we have not seen each other for a while, but please respect people's private space and do not shake hands or give hugs. Wave, smile, and keep anticipating the day when we can greet each other more warmly.
There will be no offering collected in the service. Offering containers will be available to drop your offering. You can still give online or through text.
The recommendation from the state is if you are elderly or in compromised health that you do not attend services in person at this time. We will continue to be making services available online, through DVD, and have online fellowships available for members who are not ready to come back to still be part of our church family.
