New Service Times
We will be changing our Sunday service times beginning November 29th.
Our primary service will be an outdoor service at 10:30 am for families. This service will be in the courtyard and we ask that you bring your own chair, dress warm, bring a blanket. We will have coffee and hot chocolate available. The service will last about 50 minutes due to colder weather. For this service, we will offer preschool and nursery care. School-age children are welcome to stay in the service with parents. All guidelines for outdoor gatherings will be followed. Please be mindful of social distancing and wearing masks when coming in and going out. Until further notice, we will not be having Adult Fellowship groups or Youth and Children's Sunday School.
We will also offer an indoor service at 9:00 am for only those who are elderly and medically compromised and cannot endure the outdoor weather. This service will be limited to 65 people and will be held in the Sanctuary. We ask that you sign up today, or call the office Monday or Tuesday of next week to let us know that you will be attending this service. The office will be closed Wednesday and Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday. All guidelines will be strictly followed. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory.
Please review the following guidelines
If you or anyone in your household has any of the following symptoms please stay home; fever over 100.4, shills, cough, trouble breathing, muscle aches, sore throat, loss of smell or taste, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or headache.
We will continue to have a screening for fever at check-in.
Children three years old to second grade are encouraged to wear a mask.
Children from third grade to 18 years will be required to wear a mask or face shield. We will provide face shields or masks for those who need one.
All adults are required to wear a mask while inside the buildings.
The guidelines recommend that the bathrooms be cleaned after each use, so we are encouraging all of you to use the bathroom before coming.
We will be practicing social distancing in each room.
Each room will be thoroughly cleaned after every use. We will use an electrostatic sprayer with an antiviral solution to sanitize each room.
We are all ready to fellowship and learn God’s Word together!
Christmas for Seniors of Kern County
From November 23rd to November 30th our Senior Small Group will be collecting toiletries and sundries for the seniors in Kern County who are home-bound or otherwise in need. You can bring donations to the church office, Monday and Tuesday of this week, and also Sunday before or after the service and Monday of the following week from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Small groups will be taking a break for the month of December and starting again in January.
