Why Grace
At Grace, we have a simple process (Love God, Love Others, and Reach the World) which we believe helps people understand what it means to be a follower of Jesus. Our ministries revolve around this process, so our programs are not just random activties to be done, but are part of a strategic plan to help you become what a follower of Jesus is: One who Loves God, Loves Others, and Reaches the World.
Love God is concerned with growing as a disciple. Our worship service helps you connect to God through prayer, music, giving, and hearing God's Word. Our Sunday School is centered around a daily Bible study and prayer time that you do during the week. In your Sunday School class, you come with others and share what you have learned during the week. The result is that you mature as a disciple and grow in your love for God and His Word.
Love Others is concerned with being a disciple. Our home group ministry is where you and your family will come with other members from Grace in your area and be the church! Most groups share a meal and fellowship with each other, share their lives with one another, care for one another, and pray for one another. Often groups find ways to minister to other church members or those in our community who need to be loved. We also have secondary ministries such as Men's, Women's, Primetime, and others where groups meet to encourage, strengthen, and love one another.
Reaching the World is about making disciples. During the week, we offer opportunties for our congregation to learn how to share their faith and then actually go out and do it. Most of these activities take place on Wednesday night. Whether it is reaching children, youth, or adults, we want to share God's love with others so they can experience the amazing love of Jesus and reach our world with His life changing love.
