Church Outreaches

At Grace, we believe the gospel is Good News for every person and so we want to reach our community by finding ways to express the love of God to them.  During the year, we have various Outreaches to share God's love to our community in hopes of reaching our city for Christ.

 

 

This is a familiy activity where we play games, do crafts, and have story time to share the Resurrection message with families.  We have an Easter Egg hunt and a free lunch to end the morning festivities.  We have seen a number unchurched families reached through this outreach.

 

 

This is primarily a children's outreach where kids from Kindergarten through 8th grade come and for a week learn about God.  Through music, crafts, games, snacks, and Bible study, many children each year give their heart to God and enter into a love relationship with Him.

 

 

Our Harvest Festival is done on the Sunday evening before Halloween.  This is a great time for families to have a safe fun enviornment to enjoy free games, rides, and bouncy houses.  We also have great food for a minimum charge.  A movie time is also part of the nights activities where people can watch a 15 minute movie about God's love for them.  Some unchurched families have had so much fun that they keep coming to Grace to grow in a love relationshiop wtih God.

 

 

This simple but powerful service prepares many for the true celebration of Christmas.  Through the singing of carols, special music, the reading of the Christmas story, an inspirational devotional, and the lighting of the candles, people can reflect on the Christmas gift God gave them in Jesus and some chose to begin a relationship wtih God that night.

 

 

Our Youth group, Ignite, uses their spring break to invite people to our Easter Egg Hunt and Sunday Resurrection Celebration.  During this week they will hand out flyers, do free car washes, and go to parks and provide recreation for kids in the community.  Our youth love to share how the love of God has changed their lives.

 

 

We believe that sharing the gospel is more than telling the Good News, but showing it as well.  Throughout the year, different groups in our church go out into the community and find ways to serve them and show God's love.  This simple acts of kindness help others understand the free gift God offers of eternal life through Jesus.
